Saturday mornings:
• 8:00a.m. from Kenny Marshall, Columbia TN. December through February, 9:00a.m. This ride is 30-60 miles at an average speed of 16-19 mph.
• Non-competitive (‘B’ group) 9;00a.m. from Galaxy Lanes. This ride is 15-40 miles at an easy pace.
“No one left behind” Saturday morning rides are not pre-set routes. We want to stick together or regroup before any turns. Routes are determined by a consensus at the start. Please do not let insecurities about your ability or condition stop you from joining these rides. Our Club’s purpose is to assist with bringing you along and we graciously and patiently try to do that.
Tuesdays
5:45p.m. from Long John Silvers on the southwest side of Columbia. This is a 25-mile night ride with lights. The emphasis is on the two big hills. This is for all level riders. It is a moderate ride between hills and everyone regroups at the top of the hills or at turns. Some ride cyclocross bikes for this. This ride is occasional; it is recommended that you confirm that others are riding.
No one was there! The Saturday morning ‘A’ ride will be consistently populated throughout the winter because these folks are dedicated and tolerate wet and cold. For all other rides it is best to obtain some phone numbers and emails of some of the usual riders to see if someone is coming.
Rain For Saturday morning ‘A’ group, wet roads are okay and the ride is on unless it is raining at the start or the radars are showing 100% chance of approaching lengthy, heavy rain within the hour.
Who can ride? Riders need to be members of the Columbia Cycling Club for waiver and insurance purposes. However, we are glad to take newcomers trying it out. You can sign up later. You must wear a helmet.
Hi Guys,
Just wanted to say what a pleasure it was meeting all of you on Saturday’s 9 am ride. Thanks for making my buddy Kenny and myself feel so welcome. The ride was beautiful. Looking forward to seeing you all again real soon.

Hi, I just moved to Spring Hill from Nashville and am wondering if this ride schedule is up to date? I might try to come out this Saturday to catch the ride and meet some people. Just let me know, Nathan
Yes, the ride schedule is up to date. All rides are well attended right now including the Tuesday and Wednesday rides.
Hello,
Just wondering what the route is for the Saturday morning “B” ride leaving from Galaxy Lanes. Is this ride for people who are very much beginners? The longest I have ridden is 30 miles.
Thanks.
We don’t have a pre-set route. We toss around mileage and a route just before leaving. We modify and accommodate according to the various riders. Beginners are welcome and at least one person will stay with you if you are having trouble keeping up.
Are there any group MTB rides? Or, does anyone want to ride Sat? I would imagine MTB riders would have difficulty, to say the least, on the road rides.
There is no scheduled MTB ride.
Would anyone be interested in weekly MTB rides at Chickasaw on Saturdays? I know I would. Riding Han Solo gets old after a while.
Will be in town during Thanksgiving and just wondering if there will be any rides over the weekend. Hope to see yall soon.
I will be in town July 17th to visit some in-laws and was looking for a group to ride with. Is it cool if I just meet up with you guys on a Saturday morning ride? I normally ride in Arlington,TN (near Memphis) and I have a base milage of 40miles.
Any plans for a 2010 version of the Scarecrow Century?

Hey fellow enthusiasts. I have just recently gotten into riding and I absolutely love it. I was wondering if the ride schedule is up to date. If so, I would like to give it a try, and maybe even join. Please let me know. Thanks.
The Columbia Cyclong Club ride moves around. This month from Randolph Howell Elementary. They left out at 7:30 last Saturday to beat the heat. Email john@columbiamachineworks.com to find out for sure.

Thanks for the info. I would like to know the next time and the location. How can I track that?
